For nearly a decade, well before it became the social movement it is today, Acuprint has been on the cutting edge of environmentally conscious printing practices. We set out with a goal of creating a company that did not just take from the environment but one that had a strict standard to give back. Through stringent methods of paper and metal plate recycling as well as the use of soy based inks, we have taken great strides in creating our vision for a greener planet. One that is safe for our children and many generations to follow.
Now, we have taken it one step further. To support the needs of our clients and our planet, Acuprint has obtained certification in accordance with the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody Standards. The Forest Stewardship Council is an international not-for-profit membership-based organization that brings people together to find solutions to the problems created by bad forestry practices and to reward good forest management. By adhering to practices listed in our FSC certification, Acuprint has become a vital link in a "chain of custody" which ensures that forest products such as paper can be traced from their final manufactured product all the way back to the well-managed forests from which the raw materials were harvested.
